JOB SUMMARY

The Territory Sales Manager, TSM, is responsible for selling Fisher Barton products and solutions to new and established customer partners across multiple channels within a specific geographic region. Establishes sales strategies and achieves assigned goals relative to those accounts through direct, face-to-face contact. This job requires broad knowledge of the company’s products, services, policies relative to customers and knowledge of market and customer business model.

Territory Includes: NY, NJ, PA, RI, NH, ME, CT, MD, MA, VT, DE, Ontario & Quebec, Canada

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for selling multiple Fisher Barton products and solutions to new and established customer partners across multiple channels within a specific geographic region
  • Establishes sales strategies and executes sales tactics to achieve assigned goals relative to those accounts through direct face-to-face contact
  • Develop new business to ensure a healthy funnel of business over 3+ year period
  • Work effectively with Product Management to trouble shoot products, along with effectively communicating with Product Management regarding key competitive activity and trends in the local marketplace
  • Understands margin analysis and pricing structures to maximize profitability.
  • Maintain awareness of competitors and product lines

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

  • Ability to travel as required (regularly up to 75%) to meet face-to-face with customers (via automobile, airplane, bus, etc.)
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license to transport self and others to a customer’s location
  • Ability to learn and explain technical product capabilities
  • Possess a positive attitude which promotes a high level of initiative, energy and enthusiasm
  • Possess strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Exhibits professionalism, integrity and creativity when interacting with customers and internal staff
  • Ability to coordinate projects that have significant impact on the organization and require cooperation by several departments for completion
  • Ability to effectively identify and solve complex problems
  • Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with internal staff and customers
  • Possess strong internal drive for results, self-starter who can work productively, work alone or in a team environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to effectively deal with change and the unknown; adaptable and flexible
